On March 31, 2022, a regular meeting-discussion dedicated to Animal Identification and registration (AIR) system was held under the leadership of RA Deputy Minister of Economy Tigran Gabrielyan and with the participation of Director of Center for Agricultural Services Garnik Hovhannisyan, ANIPAS System architect Mikayel Avagyan, and CARD Foundation’s CEO Gagik Sardaryan.
Throughout the meeting, various challenges confronting the project and necessitating swift resolutions were considered. Tigran Gabrielyan provided an overview of the efforts undertaken by the RA Ministry of Economy aimed at launching the AIR system and the preparatory measures taken. Additionally, updates on ongoing training sessions designed for veterinarians across the RA on the methodology of animal identification and data input into the Ani Pas electronic system were shared, alongside discussions regarding the necessity of monitoring these courses.
