Since the cattle slaughter and transportation reports are incompletely reported and imported into the ANI PAS system, the RA Ministry of Economy decided to implement the monitoring of the AIR project in all RA farms at the beginning of 2024. From May 2024, the monitoring process of the “Animal Identification and Registration” project started in the entire territory of the republic. It was implemented by the joint efforts of the RA Ministry of Economy, the “Center for Agricultural Services” of the RA Ministry of Economy, and CARD Foundation.
Under the supervision of epidemiologists, the veterinarians of the RA CAS SNCO carried out the census of cattle and data entry in the registers previously taken out and printed from ANI PAS. Then the updated data was entered into the ANI PAS electronic system.
Students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry of the RA National Agrarian University were involved in entering the collected information in a huge volume. It is also a very good opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the AIR system and the ANI PAS electronic data system.
