As it has been mentioned many times, the project “The Establishment of a Functional Animal Identification and Registration System in Armenia” gives a great importance to the exchange of experience and is always ready to follow the best. For this very reason, as necessary, the project regularly hosts experts who have created stable and functioning systems in the field, who, with their advice, further increase the potential of the project’s uninterrupted work. This time in 2023 from November 6 to November 10, the project hosted the experts of “AgrarMarkt Austria” agency Rudolf Moser and Ruth Fischer. During the five-day visit, meetings were held with the officials of the state departments developing agricultural policy. They talked about the course of the project, obstacles and gaps. The system of on-the spot-control inspections was also thoroughly studied. The visit ended with the workshop titled “Animal Numbering and Registration System in Austria and Armenia”, the main speakers of which were Austrian experts. Based on studies of the animal identification and registration system implemented in Armenia, they provided advice, proposed regulations to fill existing gaps. The workshop was also attended by the head of the ADA (Austrian Development Agency) office for Yerevan Klaus Kapper, by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy Ashkhen Shirvanyan, by CARD Foundation director Gagik Sardaryan, other representatives of RA MoE, CAS SNCO, RA FSI and other beneficiaries of the project.
