CARD Foundation, funded by the Austrian Development Agency, continues to provide support to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia in order to ensure the functionality and sustainability of the animal identification and registration system.
It should be noted that by the decision of the RA Ministry of Economy, in early months of 2024, it was planned to implement a registration process in all RA farms in order to improve the quality of the data of the ANI PAS system.
Thus, in January 2024, 927 monitoring recordkeeping books were printed, which are differentiated by communities. With the active cooperation of the CARD Foundation and “CAS” SNCO of MoE of RA, these monitoring recordkeeping books of the animal identification and registration project were distributed to community veterinarians between January 25 and February 20, 2024, after which regional visits and monitoring were carried out between March 5 and 22, 2024 to check and assess the quality of registration activities performed by veterinarians.
