From July 8 to August 17, 2022, the Ministry of Economy (MoE) visited all marzes of Armenia to raise awareness about the national “Cattle Identification and Registration (AIR) System in Armenia” project. Representatives from MoE’s Center for Agricultural Service (CAS) SNCO, the Food Safety Inspection Body (FSIB), and the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) also attended the meetings. During these meetings, representatives from the MoE’s Veterinary and AIR department highlighted the project’s importance to community leaders. Community leaders filled out questionnaires, which the MoE and CARD Foundation will use to compile a report to facilitate the effective organization of the project’s implementation.
